Ingredients: 3-4 servings
2 lbs. of fresh clams(preskong tulya)
1/2 can sparkling water with white wine
1 bundle of bell pepper leaves, removed from stems
2 cloves of minced garlic
1/2 medium, sliced onion
1 thumb-sized minced ginger slices
1 large, sliced red tomatoes
1 large Anaheim pepper(optional)
salt & pepper to taste

Cooking Preparation:
- Wash and clean fresh clams, scrape each of the shells to remove any muddy or sandy elements are present. Set them aside.
- On a pan, apply a small amount of cooking oil and sauté garlic, onions and tomatoes altogether until tomatoes are mashed, garlic and onions are browned.
- Add the the clams or tulya next. Apply ginger, sauté for a couple of minutes, then cover the pan with its lid to bring the clams in to a boil. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remover the pan’s lid, apply salt and peppers to the mix, stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients, then apply 1/2 a can of the sparkling water with white wine.
- Top it with the bell pepper or chili pepper leaves and a piece of Anaheim pepper. Stir and leave it to simmer for another 5 minutes prior to serving. You can enjoy this Ginisang Tulya sa White Wine as an appetizer or serve it with steamed rice!
