Another quick and simple, but flavorful Salmon recipe to serve for lunch or dinner, Millie’s Baked Glazed Salmon is full of flavor! What she did, is marinate 2 halves of the leg parts of the Salmon by applying a list spices, including finely chopped garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano leaves, dried rosemary leaves, then seasoned them with salt and pepper. She rubbed them with melted butter with a squeeze of lemon juice, and a tablespoon of honey, baked it 375F, then gave them a quick broil at a low heat! Quick but delicious, just as I said.

Ingredients: 3-4 servings

2 halves of pink salmon(leg parts)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves
1/2 medium size lemon
salt & pepper to taste
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tbsp. honey

Cooking Procedure:

  1. Heat oven to 375F. Cut the boneless salmon fillet in halves. Wash, clean and place them on a flat surface, apply salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried oregano, rosemary herbs. Rub the mixture all over the fish to even up the seasoning.
  2. On a measuring cup, melt 1/4 cup of butter, apply a squeeze of lemon juice, add honey to the mix. Whisk to combine the juice mix, then pour and brush the liquid mix all over the salmon.
  3. Place the glazed salmon slices on a foil-covered baking sheet. Cover the top with another sheet of aluminum foil. Place it on the middle rack of the oven, and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. When done, take out the foil cover and transfer Baked Glazed Salmon to the top rack. Switch oven set-up to broil, on a low setting for 3 minutes. Enough for the pink part of the fish to look slightly broiled.
  5. Turn off heat. Quickly remove baked glazed salmon out of the oven, brush remaining liquid mix on top, then serve this delicious Baked Glazed Salmon hot, with steamed rice or steamed vegetables.

Tip: Do not overcook or overbake any salmon recipe. It will not only lose its dietary nutrients but it will taste dry, chalky and therefore not very tasty.
