Ingredients: 4-5 servings
2 lbs. medium size prawn shrimps
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups tempura sauce
Cocktail sauce
Cooking oil for frying
Cooking Procedure:
- Wash and clean the shrimps, remove the shells up to their tails, slightly cut their backs and remove intestine (black thin line underneath their transparent backs).
- Place the shrimps on a medium bowl, season with chopped garlic, pepper, salt and lemon.
- Refrigerate and leave it for half an hour. Mix eggs and cornstarch together while waiting for the shrimps to cool off.
